Greg O'Toole

Greg O’Toole is an Emmy-winning documentary film editor and writer whose feature documentaries have screened at festivals around the world and broadcast on PBS, the BBC, ESPN, FOX, Netflix, and other outlets. Since 2011, he has been nominated for 8 National Emmy’s, including for Best Editing and Best Documentary. His work includes the Emmy-winning After Tiller, the three-time Emmy-nominated Better This World (winner of the WGA award for Best Documentary Screenplay), the Emmy-nominated and Tribeca Audience Award-winning The Return, the Emmy-nominated Two Escobars, the Emmy-nominated Shot in the Dark, the Emmy-nominated Vegas Baby, the Cinema Eyes-nominated An Honest Liar, and the Sundance award-winning The Price of Free (as additional editor).

His short series work includes films focused on environmental issues, as well as A Cure for Fear, a 4-part series that premiered at Camden Film Festival and was nominated by the IDA for the Best Short Form Series.

His latest work includes Taylor Swift: Miss Americana, which was selected as the opening night film for the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.

When he is not in front of the computer, he is somewhere in the ocean, sailing, surfing, kiteboarding, or freediving.
